First Kentucky Bank Welcomes Doug Smith as Vice President of Business Development and Agricultural / Commercial Lending

Mayfield, Kentucky – First Kentucky Bank President and CEO David A. Long announces that Doug Smith has joined First Kentucky Bank as Head of Business Development and Agricultural / Commercial Lending.
Smith has 25 years of banking experience combined with his most recent role as a farm corporate banker. At First Kentucky Bank, he will be responsible for business development and commercial lending in Ohio and Daviess County.
He said, “I am delighted to join the First Kentucky Bank team as a commercial lender. Working with First Kentucky will allow me to provide a better customer experience for my clients with fast local loan decisions, flexibility, personalized service and a commitment to the community.
Smith graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He has volunteered with the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro as a board member and volunteer for over 20 years and Audubon Area Community Services as a board member for over 15 years. He has also served on the finance committee of the Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church for the past 15 years.
Smith resides in Owensboro with his wife, Suzanne. They have two children, Brandon and Emma Smith. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, volunteering and spending time outdoors.
