Johnathon Ray “John” Longstreth, 23, of Washington, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 29, 2021.

He was born on September 11, 1998 in Washington, son of Stephen L. “Steve” Longstreth and Marian T. Kudla Longstreth, of Washington.

John graduated from McGuffey High School in 2017 with a degree in corporate finance from Slippery Rock University.

He attended the Abundant Life Baptist Church.

John had worked at Bell’s Landscaping in Canonsburg and had recently started working as a representative in Washington at ADT Security.

A young man who enjoyed spending time with his friends, John enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies, playing video games, working outdoors, and landscaping.

Survivor, in addition to his parents, are his maternal grandparents, Donald and Anna Kudla, of Bridgeport, W.Va .; paternal grandparents, Joseph William and Mary Lucille Longstreth, of Washington; one sister, Amanda Marie Longstreth, of Washington; one brother, Joseph Anthony Longstreth, of Washington; aunts and uncles, Terri and Anthony Centofanti, of Charleston, WV, Mary Beth and Jay Hill, of Imperial, and Kim and Mike Clark, of Claysville; and his cousins, Vincent (Auri) Centofanti, and their daughter Viena, Dominick Centofanti, Christina Centofanti, Shane (Carly) Hill, Alexis Hill, Ethan Clark and Emma Clark.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 4 at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 5, at the Abundant Life Baptist Church, 269 Cameron Road, Washington, with the Reverend Jeff Diedrich as officiant.

Interment will follow at Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Amity.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
